Killing of Oruku traditional ruler: Nnolim Nnaji Visits the Community, Sues for Peace

Following the Saturday crises that engulfed Oruku Community in Nkanu East local government area of Enugu State wherein the traditional ruler of the community Igwe Emma Mbah was shot dead by unknown gunmen and various houses burnt, the member Representing Nkanu East/West Federal Constituency who doubles as the house Committee Chairman on Aviation Hon. Nnolim Nnaji has visited the Community and called for total calm.

The on-the-spot assessment was to assertain the level of damage and ensure that the wairing parties do not further any reprasal attack.

Chief Nnaji who appealed for absolute peace, assured that the security agencies have swung into action to unravel the causes of the incident.

The remains of Igwe Emma Mbah has been deposited at one of the mortuaries in Enugu Metropolis while efforts are ongoing by the state government to restore normalcy to the community.
