Following the death of one Master Ejike Okeke on Saturday 24th October, 2020 as a result of stray bullet by an unidentified police Officer repelling crowd at Nkpokiti, the Representatives of IMT Alumni Comrades on Sunday led by a Former President of the Students Union Government RT. Comr. Monday Diamond who doubles as the President, Nkanu Youth Council alongside Comr. Joseph Onah (President, National Council of Enugu State Students NACESS), Hon. Ester Ogbuefi Representing Enugu West Constituency in the Nigeria Youth Parliament and the incumbent President of the Student Union Government IMT Rt. Comr. Anichukwu Ugochukwu paid condolence Visit to the Family of the Victim at Ezeagu LGA.
The visit was inline with the resolution of the Comrades to indentify with the deceased family, console them and on behalf of the Family, IMT Students and Youths mediate with the necessary Authorities and work out modalities for the Burial.
Master Ejike who is a Native of Amaogbu Akama Oghe in Ezeagu LGA until his death was a Student of the Institute of Management and Technology (IMT).

In response, the Victim’s elder brother, Comr. Chekwube Okeke decried the unfortunate incidence but urged IMT Students and Enugu Youths to be calm and peaceful, and not to retort to violence that would cause mayhem in Enugu State, for Enugu State is our State and God knows the best.
